Linked objects in the online editor

There is a new feature added to the design editor. It helps to link text layers or photo frames, so that changes made to the main object are automatically applied to all the other objects linked to it. For example, the text on the photobook spine will be changed together with the text on its cover, or several photo frames can be filled in by one photo at once (demo website). Linked objects should belong to one group of PSD templates that is defined in the layer title by adding [groupId: GroupName] to it.

Order duplication

Order duplication logic was extended. You can find the new Order duplication strategy setting in the Orders / Settings / Order configuration / General information section of the control panel that includes the following options:

  • Do not duplicate.
  • Duplicate only items of the design editor to the cart.
  • Duplicate only items of the design and layout editors to the cart.
  • Duplicate all items to the cart.
  • Duplicate all items to a new order not adding them to the cart.
You can configure the order duplication strategy both for the whole website and for the particular customer in their profile.

Integration with mobiShastra SMS provider

Integration with mobiShastra, SMS provider from the UAE, was added to the platform. You can enable it in the Marketing / Notifications / SMS settings section of the control panel.

Photo quality evaluation in the online editor

Photo quality evaluation function was upgraded in the design editor. Now you can see notifications on low or average image quality on the photo itself or in the Issues pane on the right.

PDF support in the graduation photobook editor

Now the graduation photobook editor supports PDF format for covers and spreads. If PDF document consists of multiple pages, only its first page will be used. Multilayer PDF files make it possible for our customers to use the wider range of functions to design pages.

Notification on order splitting

We introduce a new type of notification on order splitting for employees and customers. This notification can be modified by the following options:

  • OrderSplitted_CustomId – split order identifier.
  • OrderSplitted_Summary – information on split order content.
  • OrderSplitted_Total – total amount of the split order.
  • OrderSplitted_ViewUrl – link to the split order on the website.
  • OrderSplitted_AdminViewUrl – link to the split order in the control panel.

Invoice payment

Now, when paying for the order by bank transfer, you can not only print a receipt but also download it.

Item attributes in the relevant order file

From now on, the info.html file in the order archive will contain information on item attributes.

Estimated lead time

There is a new setting (the last one in the list) in the Orders / Settings / Order management / Lead time section of the control panel that helps to recalculate estimated order delivery date when the order status is changed.

Read receipt for comments on the order

Now two check marks will appear next to each comment in the order discussion field of the control panel when the comment is read (or one check mark when it's only sent).

Filter by languages in the typeface manager

We introduce a new filter for typefaces by supported languages that can be found in the Print / Settings / Typefaces section of the control panel.

Batch functions for templates

There are new buttons for batching and for removal of templates from the list of random templates in the Print / Designs / Templates section of the control panel.

Bug fixing

Not only the new features mentioned above were added, but also several bugs were fixed in different modules of the service.
